Things I love

Everyone else seems to have some sort of blogging series and I feel left out so here's mine..."Things I love" Mondays. Original, no? This weeks edition is all about my weekend. I didn't have the best week last week, nothing like the poor writer at Brunch at Saks, but not a good week. So I was all about having a good weekend and finding things I love.

I went with the bf to an Ontario Reign hockey game Saturday night. They won after a shootout, very fun

Got amazing coffee for the bf and myself Sunday morning while he was still sleeping (read recovering) from his night out with the boys

Then it was off to Disneyland!!! Where, I am happy to say, I saw Capitan EO for the very first time. I don't remember it growing up but it was kinda cute. The best was all the teeny-bopper girls screaming when MJ first appeared and did his moonwalk. Do they even know he was a singer?

For dinner we had In-N-Out, which is what we normally have post-Disneyland.

And finally, the Academy Awards!! I missed the first hour, but saw all the important things and thought it was just lovely. Some of my favorite dresses were...

Meryl Streep. I hope I look this good at 60

Gabourey Sidibe. She looked fantastic

Cameron Diaz. 

Morgan Freeman. Just because I love him

Also loved Rachel McAdams, Oprah, and Kathryn Bigalow. 

That's my list for this lovely Monday. I hope you all have a wonderful start to what I'm praying is a good week!

PS. I just read on People.com that Farrah Fawcett wasn't included in the "In Memoriam" segment. Is that true? If so, I'm quite disappointed in the Academy for such a huge oversight to such an amazing woman.
