Food-lovers Dream

Yesterday I had a day full of my food fantasies.  I met Giada De Laurentiis at a book signing at Williams-Sonoma. And yes, she is just a tiny in person, and just as flawless, as she looks on TV (darn it). But she was very cute and although I spent a whopping 20 seconds talking to her, I am still very excited about the meet-and-greet. I want to have her life.

Then I went and catered my grandparents dinner party. Although my grandmother planned the menu, I cooked a 3 course meal and became a bit artistic with my mini fudge cake dessert with fresh raspberry puree.  And, to top it off, I got to sport my new Hip Hostess apron, which arrived tied with the cutest ribbon. All in all, it was a good day centered on food. But lets be honest, most any day centered around food is a good day.
