Its been quite a while since my last "Things I Love" Monday (I blame work/vacation) but I am determined to get back into the regularity of it (that and the gym).
For Easter I made an Asparagus Gruyere Tart from Martha Stewart's recipe
The amazingly lovely author of Brunch at Sacks put up this home decor photo. While I don't normally go for yellow, its harsh with my fair complexion, I love the idea of framing wall paper to use as a headboard or behind a couch.
We forgot to bring our cameras on my vacation to Mammoth Mountain last week so we bought two disposable cameras. I'm loving the anticipation of getting the film developed, not knowing what the photos will be like when we do.
Things I'm not loving...Earthquakes. As I'm sure you all know by now there was a 7.2 quake in Northern Mexico yesterday afternoon and boy did we ever feel it. So far I've counted 7 aftershocks, including 2 during the night last night, with more to come I'm sure. Please say some prayers for those most affected, I heard 2 people in Mexico have died and the boarder is now closed due to gas leaks...scary.
Each of these squares is an earthquake...ahhh.
Oh my! That tart looks divine!
ReplyDeleteMy brother sent everyone in my family a text message when he felt the earthquake in Irvine. No phone call - just "we just had a 6.9 earthquake." We were all a bit freaked out!
