In 3 short weeks I will be jetting off with 27 of my closest family members to Beaches, Turks & Caicos for a week of sun bathing, crystal blue waters, water slides, and pure relaxation. I've been stocking up on beach reads (any suggestions?) and starting to plan my beach inspired wardrobe that I plan to have full of light weight dresses, bright colors, cool whites, and lots of sunscreen!

Giant sunglasses like these by Michael Kors are a must, not only to look chic but to keep the rays out of my face.
A bright bathing suit would be a great way to jazz up the lounging I plan on doing, for all 7 days I'm there

One of my favorite books is "The Shell Seekers" by Rosamunde Pilcher, about an aging British woman whose greedy children are trying to weasel their inheritance out of her before she dies, interspersed with flashbacks to the love affair that she had in World War II. It's gorgeous, touching, satisfying, and the descriptions of the food leave my mouth watering every time!
