When I grow up...

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my job as a nurse. But I do have days where I wish I would have studied business or art history or something that would place me in the jet setting world. I would love to wear cute professional clothing, have a passport full of stamps, and plan my trips a few days in advance. Here are some of the items I'm dreaming about for my next life as a jet-setter

A fun carry on/weekender from Dooney & Bourke

Nordstrom Tissue Weight Cashmere Wrap
A tissue weight cashmere wrap for the cold plane rides from Nordstrom

Moisture Surge Face Spray Thirsty Skin Relief
Clinique Moisture Spray to freshen up after a long flight from Sephora

nook reader
A Nook reader to cut down on the number (and weight) of carry-ons

This is just the surface of things I'd invest in if I was traveling around the world, or even the country, on a regular basis. Are any of you frequent flyers for work? Do you enjoy it? It always seems fun to me, but I might be romanticizing it a bit

  1. I love my job too. But sometimes I wish I could cut down on the travel. I'm on the Red Eye to Chicago tonight only to be sent to Dallas Thursday morning and home that night. Did I mention they told me this Chicago trip was happening today... at noon. I never thought being a writer would get me here. Today I'll be jealous of you!

I am seriously thinking about buying a nook. I have 4 books in my bag right now.

  2. If I wasn't married, I would love to have a job where I traveled all the time (as long as it took me to beautiful, interesting places, of course!).
