October is breast cancer awareness month and as a nurse (and an avid shopper) I always feel that supporting reserach and education when it comes to any illness is important. Throughout the month numerous sites and companies are donating proceeds from select products to breast cancer research and centers. Here are some of my favorites and please remember to do your routine self exams and talk to your doctor about mamograms (I know I know, but I am a nurse). Every year there are over 200,000 new diagnosis for women and 1,000 for men, so talk to your hubs or man in your life too.
