In case you haven't quite caught on, I LOVE Madam Coco Chanel. One of my favorite movies is Coco Chanel staring the one and only Shirley MacLaine. I have now found that the Hotel Ritz Paris has taken Miss Chanel's old room (she lived there from 1934-1971) and refurbished it with the help of an art historian and, one can only assume, had the approval of Karl Lagerfield as well. Rumor has it that this room goes for over $11,000 a night but I think it would be well worth the money for a once in a lifetime change to live in the same space Miss Chanel did. Maybe a man will come along, sweep me off my feet, and fly me to Paris for the night...a girl can dream can't she?
