For those of you who don't know about Whole Foods, you're missing out! Its like a farmers market and organic grocery store all rolled into one, with amazing hand made foods for takeout and delicious desserts that will make even the biggest O.C. dieter crave one. I always start out by getting a fruit smoothie to enjoy while I puruse the market and today was no different. And although I was still in a poor mood, I started at the vegetables for 5 minutes fighting back tears of unknown orgin, it was a good trip in all.
They have some of the most amazing fresh flowers, and at great prices.
And I could go nuts with their desserts and gellato (I passed today, a decision I'm currently regreting)
I did buy cheese fondue and bread and apples and enjoyed it with my wine for dinner while on the phone (for 2 hours) with Miss Molly. Isn't it great to have friends you can do that with? We miss our wine nights we used to have so now they are via phone, but still awesome!
Doesn't that just look delicious? And way cheeper than The Melting Pot! The fondue I bought came in that ceramic bowl and it was microwaveable!! A fantastic way to treat yourself when you're just having one of those days.
Here's to a better one tomorrow! Thanks for the love and encouragement Molly!!!
1. I can't believe I didn't know that Whole Foods has gelato!
ReplyDelete2. Tornado in SoCal? Insane!
3. I know exactly what you mean about crappy days. Yay for good friends to talk to you for hours on the phone, though! Here's to hoping tomorrow is better!
fondue! ive been eyeing off my mum's original one from the 70s...but I know she's not ready to give it up yet! In the meantime I'm still fantasising about my first fondue in it...
