Olympic Junkie

I've decided to admit it...I'm an Olympic junkie (thanks to a dear friend for the name). I have been loving the last week full of competition, world unity, and tears. My new sport to watch is curling...I mean, come on, a sport where you can walk, sweep, and yell, what more could you ask for? And the uniforms...lets let Norway demonstrate how fantastic those can be

My first week highlights

Shawn White landing his crazy new twisty-jump thingy after he already won the gold based on his first half-pipe run (and improving his score)

Evan Lysacek's surprise gold in Men's Figure Skating

Australia's Torah Bright's gold in Women's half-pipe. Her parents surprised her by showing up (after a 26 hour trip) to watch her win. (And her goggles are so cool! The back strap is covered in rhinestones, and you all know how I love my sparkle)

And tonight...USA beats Canada in Men's Hockey (just a cool thing)

Still to come...ice dancing, more skiing (go Bode Miller!!), and of course, more curling!!!
